More new blood in Season 21 of Grey’s Anatomy! After many exciting announcements about these upcoming episodes, which are currently being filmed in the US, we now know that a new actor is joining the cast of the medical series.
A new recruit in “Grey’s Anatomy” season 21
It is also relatively less known to the general French public, but undoubtedly more so to fans of the series: this is Floriana Lima, who we have seen in recent years in the drama A million little things!
From Gray Sloan Memorial Hospital, she will play Nora in several episodes of Grey’s Anatomy season 21. This character is none other than a childhood friend of Owen (Kevin McKidd) and his sister Megan (Abigail Spencer).
Nora comes to Seattle to see these old acquaintances, but also because she needs to be taken care of. The latter first went to another hospital, but was treated badly there, even though he was only supposed to have a routine operation… so he must face dangerous complications!
This heroine is also described as a devoted mother and newly divorced woman who is determined to live life to the fullest. Nora is ready to take on any challenge to overcome this and be able to stay with her children in the next chapter of their lives…once she recovers.
The 21st season marked by changes
As we said, this arrival comes at a time when a lot of changes are happening behind the scenes on Grey’s Anatomy: Jake Borrell (Levi) and Midori Francis (Yasuda) will be leaving the series! On the other hand, Ellen Pompeo (Meredith) and Scott Speedman (Nick) will be more present during the next explosion of these episodes.
Jason George (Benny) returns home after the cancellation of Station 19. Finally, Callie Rocha and Natalie Morales (who played the supporting roles of Sydney and Monica) return to the already crowded corridors of Gray Sloan Memorial Hospital…
Season 21 of Grey’s Anatomy will begin on Thursday, September 26, 2024 in the United States.
