Filmed in Italy, this new production stars Matilda De Angelis (especially seen in The Undoing). The series is produced by the Transalpine company Cattleya, to whom we owe the international success of Romanzo Criminale and Gomorra.
Here’s the synopsis provided by Prime Video: Milan, 2030: Eight years ago, the independent spy agency Citadel was destroyed by the powerful enemy syndicate Manticore. Since then, Diana Cavaliere, the Citadel’s undercover agent, has been left alone, behind enemy lines as a manticore.
The platform published the first images of the series last night. Remember that a season 2 of the main series has already been ordered and a second spin-off set in India called Citadel: Honey Bunny will air from next November.
The Citadel franchise is produced by brothers Joe and Anthony Russo (Avengers: Endgame).
