A final round of applause for the 2024 edition of the La Rochelle Art Festival, held from September 10 to 15. The awards ceremony last night culminated the richness and diversity of the competition, which is unmissable for both sector professionals and the public.
The jury, chaired by Thierry Godard, an iconic face of French television, presented the list of prizes and awarded 11 prizes at the closing ceremony presented by Antonia de Rendinger.
On the series side, Arte Nismet’s new edition took home the prize for best 52-minute series, while TF1’s comedy Flashback, with Michael Yeun, received a special jury mention.
The outstanding Canal+ comedy Iris with Doria Tillier was awarded in the 26 minutes category. In turn, Ovidie’s series Des gens bien common won the prize for best series under 20 minutes, as well as the Collégiens de Charente-Maritime prize.
Sentinelles – Ukraine received the prize for the best music for the work of Eric Neveu. Enjoy!, which will be released on Friday September 20 on the France TV Slash platform, left the prize for the best screenplay and the young man hopeful Jean-Désiré Augène.
Finally, for the best actor prize, the jury decided to reward Nicolas Duuchel and Guillaume Guy for their interpretation of the two brothers in arms in Fortune de France, the new historical series that airs on Monday, September 16 on France 2.
TV movies, on the other hand, are not left out. The jury awarded the best unitary prize to A l’proof, a social fiction about the instability of single women, which will be broadcast on France 2 on Wednesday, September 25. The fiction also received acclaim from the foreign press, which awarded it the Unifrance prize.
Still on the France Télévisions side, Cécile Beuys was awarded Best Actress for her role in Signalements, while Capuchin Valmar was awarded Young Woman of Hope for Blessed be Sixtine. Finally, the TV movie Je ne me sera plus faire, which will soon be offered at Arte, was awarded the best director prize to Gustave Kervern.
