Tito Jackson, Michael’s Brother and Member of The Jackson Five, Dies at Age 70

The singer and songwriter enjoyed success alongside his brothers in the 1970s; the cause of death was not revealed

“It is with heavy hearts that we announce that our beloved father, Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Tito Jackson, is no longer with us. We are shocked, saddened and heartbroken. Tito was born Toriano Adaryl Jackson on October 15, 1953 in the city of Gary, Indiana, in the north-east of the United States. He was the guitarist of the group that, in addition to him and the king of pop, had his brothers Jackie, Jermaine AND Marlon as members. The Jackson Five, who were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1997, produced several chart-topping songs in the 1970s, including “I Want You Back,” “ABC,” and “I’ll Be There.”
