Coritiba announces Luiz Gustavo Sader as youth team coach


The new youth team manager of Coritiba has 13 years of experience in the development and transition of young talents in Brazilian football




This Tuesday (17), Luiz Gustavo Sader was announced as the new coach of the youth categories of Coritiba. A specialist in sports management and athlete development, the manager has 13 years of experience in football to take on the role at the club.

A graduate in administration from FGV, sports director of FIFA and FUMEC and football manager of CBF, Sader stands out for having worked in the development process of young talents in Brazilian football, including athletes who are part of elite teams.

The new head of the Coritiba training categories worked on the development and transitions of Estêvão and Murilo, who play for Palmeiras, Fabrício Bruno, who plays for Flamengo, and Vitinho, who is part of the Botafogo team. This time the match will be played in front of the club’s headquarters in Alviverde.

In addition to participating in the development of promising footballers, the coach accumulates successes with the youth teams in which he has played. In his career, Sader has won the Copa do Brasil U20 2023, the Campeonato Brasileiro U20 and the Supercup do Brasil U20 2017. This season, he finished second in the Copa São Paulo U20.

Sader’s arrival at Coxa is another step in the internal reformulation carried out by SAF. In addition to hiring the base manager, the management has changed the CEO and made changes to the technical committee of the U20 team.
