Investigations revealed that Brian Jeffrey Raymond had images showing the victims unconscious and unable to consent.
A former CIA agent was sentenced Wednesday, 18, to 30 years in prison for sexually abusing women in several countries. Brian Jeffrey Raymond, 48, kept photographs of his naked and unconscious victims in his bed.
On November 7, 2023, he pleaded guilty to charges of sexual abuse, abusive sexual contact, coercion and solicitation, and transportation of obscene material. United States District Court.
At the time, Raymond admitted to drugging and having nonconsensual sex with four victims and having nonconsensual sexual contact with six other women.
“Raymond further admitted to drugging and then creating obscene material depicting 28 women without their knowledge or permission and to drugging two other women,” the District Court heard.
Between 2006 and 2020, while working at the CIA, Raymond sexually assaulted and photographed several women in countries such as Mexico and Peru, using the government-rented home as a crime scene. More than 500 photographs were found during the investigation.
“Many of the recordings show Raymond touching and manipulating the victims’ bodies while they were unconscious and unable to consent. Raymond attempted to delete the explicit photographs and videos of the victims after learning of the criminal investigation.
In addition to prison time, Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly ordered Raymond to pay $260,000 to his victims. After 30 years, he will be registered as a sex offender.
