HPI on TF1: Why is this Thursday, September 19 episode so important?

This Thursday night, TF1 will air HPI Season 4 Episode 6. A very special new opus after the investigation of a disturbing disappearance leads Morgan (Audrey Flerot) and Karadek (Mehdi Nebibu) to Brittany, the warlord’s homeland. A counselor’s opportunity to finally meet Adam’s family and understand the many traumas plaguing his friend.

Why does the episode take place in Brittany?

Even if this isn’t the first time Morgan and Karadek have traveled outside of Lille — we still remember the season two finale in which they went to Brighton — it’s the first time the episode takes place in another region entirely.

For the directors of the detective series, Alyssa Chegaray-Broino and Julien Anskater, this episode in the Breton lands (which was not actually filmed there) was a good way to connect the two characters, whose relationship was torn apart by Morgan’s betrayal. The end of season 3.

The first part of season 4 revolves around the departure of Karadetz” explained Julien Anskater at the microphone of AlloCiné. “In this first episode, he and Morgan grow very distant. They’re in conflict and there’s even an episode where he’s not there.”

We wanted to play at their reunion. We had the idea of a road trip because it’s an intimate moment. Morgan and Karadek are face to face for almost the entire episode. We also told ourselves that this was the best time to do it. “

Karadec just remembered sleeping with Morgan and he tells her that maybe he isn’t the father. Everything is emotionally entangled and they will have to sort it out along the way.

Karadetz’s way of restoring himself

This trip to Brittany is also a good way for Karadec to finally rebuild his life. In HPI Season 3, a police officer confides in Morgan that he feels responsible for the accident that left his brother a paraplegic. Since then, the policeman had a bad relationship with his parents.

“It seemed interesting to us to go to Karadets’ homeland and interact with his brother and his parents. Alisa Chegarai-Bruno revealed to our microphone. “It was something we had in mind from the beginning, but it’s hard to tell the story in a vacuum.”

So that’s the seed we planted to give depth to the character. Thus, going to Brittany allows us to better understand Karadek’s character in relation to his family and the drama that happened a few years ago.

The end of the third season caused a rift between the two characters. For the two authors, the only solution to their reconciliation was intimacy.

Our idea was that Morgan’s intrusion into the family realm, a place where things don’t change and where we are forever children to our parents, would shake it all up and allow Karadek to make amends. And therefore to repair the relationship between the two, at the moment when he begins to accept the fact of paternityAlisa Chegarai-Bruno explained.

This episode represents Karadetz’s inner journey. And this allows Morgan to get close to him.One thing’s for sure, this new episode of HPI will change everything for Morgan and Karadek.
