Un Si Grand Soleil Preview: Episode Summary for Friday, September 20, 2024 [SPOILERS]

Alex and Celine succumb to temptation

In the morning, Alex gets a call from Davia, who comes fishing for information. Later that evening, when Alex meets Celine, the young woman advises him to tell the truth, and then asks him to call her for all the details.

For their part, Judge Laplace and Commissioner Becker appreciate the investigation, which is unfortunately deadlocked.

Meanwhile, Alex discovers that Raphael Dormois has been on the streets and is now living in a house in Lunell. However, Raphael only stayed there for a month because he argued with everyone. Apart from this, the police also found that Raphael was working at a construction site in Pallavas. So Commissioner Becker asks Manu and Alex to go there the next day.

At the end of the day, Alex goes to see Celine. After drinking a few cocktails, they share an intimate moment. Once dressed, Alex plucks up the courage to tell Celine that he is a police officer. When she asks why he cheated on her, Alex claims that her job scares people. Hearing this, Celine asks him to bring the handcuffs the next time they see each other.

A short distance away, Evan takes advantage of the kidnapper bringing him a tray of food to talk to him. Convinced that he has a connection to the dead patient, the doctor assures him that he did everything he could to save him. The man then replies that he is not interested in her explanations before specifying that he is going to pay for what he did. He also adds that he will die in 4 days.

Dimitri reports himself to the police

In Midi Libre, Mark receives a call from a woman whose dog has been kidnapped in front of him. After getting various information, Mark advises him not to pay the ransom to save time.

Mark then meets Marie-Sophie to let her know he has a lead. It must be said that the journalist knows Dimitri well, because he was a former associate of his wife. Knowing that he was in trouble with the law for fraud, the journalist thinks he could start making money again. Moreover, Dimitri lives in the village where one of the dogs was found. According to him, this cannot be a coincidence.

To find out exactly, Mark calls Leonor and asks if she heard from Dimitri. Although this is not the case, Leonor knows that her ex-partner has money problems that have not improved since his accusations. Currently, Dimitri cannot even afford a lawyer at the trial.

Convinced that Dimitri is at the head of this dognapping, Mark goes to his house. Seeing the dog accompanying him, Mark confronts him. Behind the wall, Dimitri admits. After breaking up with Sabine, the latter is no longer able to cope. He then got the idea to kidnap the dogs when he started dating Rebecca using her clinic files without her knowledge. Since he risks a lot, Dimitri begs not to condemn him. Only Mark is stuck. Its editor-in-chief knew about this case, he had to publish the article the next day. So Mark advises him to go to the police.

Back at Midi Libre, Mark tells Marie-Sophie that Dimitri confessed everything. Since he has to publish the article the next day, the journalist asks the editor-in-chief to put Dimitri’s face back and not to mention his name because he doesn’t want to push it further. Marie Sophie accepts.

At the same time, Dimitri goes to the police station, where he confesses. If he already thought it was screwed up, Becker thinks he’s outdone himself and hit the bottom with this scam.
