Reporter Jeff Sneider of Insider stated that the continuation of Bloody Wedding (Ready or Not) is under development, with the return of Samara Weaving in the role of the protagonist. The actress commented on the news in an interview with ComicBookwhere he joked:

The first Bloody Wedding was released in 2019 and quickly became a box office success, grossing nearly six times its $6 million budget. The film combines horror and comedy as it tells the story of Gracea young woman who marries the heir of a wealthy and eccentric family. On her wedding night, she discovers that she must participate in a deadly game with her new in-laws in order to survive.
