A Better Life Preview: Episode Summary for Thursday, July 14, 2022 [SPOILERS]

At the Place du Mistral, Barbara, Laetitia and Myrtle were not convinced that they saw Canadar. The latter is more concerned with the castellans, about whom he has no news.

They slept under the stars, not suspecting the start of a fire that started a little further away. Pablo, who has asthma, wakes up to the spread of smoke. He wakes up the other family members to warn them of the danger. Thus, they return to their motor home in time to leave the site.

They stop at a hypermarket. A shocked Sunale wants to go back to Marseilles, but her father promises her a ride to a safe zone. As for Luna, she offers kids comfort food.

At the same time, Kevin sends Baptiste a message from Camille: he’s worried about Emma and hopes Baptiste cares enough for her. But the Baptist stands up, irritated by this remark.

She goes to the beach to take a supervisor’s job and surprises Justin with a fireman’s calendar photo shoot. The photographer suggests that they pose together for the cover. Two ex-lovers grow closer, then move a little further from the beach to capture their love…

In his apartment in Marseille, Eric does a lot of storage as well as sorting. Among his tasks, he comes across a policeman’s diploma, which he decides to keep as a souvenir.

He then goes to the police station to clean his office. His colleagues throw him a farewell party. On his way out, Eric admits that he misses them. Before he leaves, his colleagues present him with a donated crow that Eric found at a thrift store.

After which Eric goes home to Simon. He offers to accompany her on a horseback ride outside the city.

Killian surprises Lola, who watches Noah arrive at the landing. He then tells her that the latter has been sitting with Betty for the past few days. Lola is devastated. He can’t resist looking up Betty’s address on the Internet.

Later, Lola goes home. Killian is also there, watching Betty and Noah dance and have fun at home. An angry Lola throws a stone in the direction of the house and breaks the window. Beth and Noah are surprised, and the twins run away.

Back at the Mistral, Killian advises Lola not to give in to her hatred as much as she could. They try to support each other through this ordeal, each admitting it’s hard to turn the page.
