How does Timeleft work?
After registering, users complete a personality test, which serves as the basis for the algorithm to match five compatible people for dinner, always on Wednesdays. The system organizes the entire event: on Tuesday, participants receive information about their group of strangers, and on the day of the meeting, they receive the location of the dinner.
The proposal is to encourage spontaneous interactions, proposing suggestive questions that stimulate deeper conversations, creating an engaging experience full of surprises.
“Then users simply arrive at the dinner location and enjoy a pleasant evening, full of surprises, stories and authentic connections,” Timeleft explains in a statement.

Launched in Lisbon, Portugal, Timeleft has more than 400,000 users worldwide, in 140 cities and 25 countries. The platform adds new cities and countries to its service on a weekly basis.
With a target audience of 27 to 50 years old, Timeleft’s community is made up of 70% local users and 30% international users, reinforcing its global character.
“Timeleft’s mission is clear: to combat urban loneliness by fostering authentic and meaningful connections,” the company says.
