The sixth season of “Black Mirror” revealed the first names of its cast. And there’s a famous celebrity on the list.
Highlights are Aaron Paul (“Westworld”), Kate Mara (“Fantastic Four”), Zazie Beetz (“Deadpool 2”), Josh Hartnett (“Penny Dreadful”), Danny Ramirez (“Top Gun: Maverick”), Paapa Essiedu (“I May Destroy You”), Clara Rugaard (“I Am Mother”), Auden Thornton (“Beauty Mark”) and Anjana Vasan (“Killing Eve”).
This cast corresponds to the production of three episodes and new actors can be announced for other chapters.
While details on specific storylines are being kept under wraps, Variety says Season 6 will have more episodes and an even more cinematic approach, with each chapter treated as a single movie. This indicates long episodes, which was already a trend in recent releases.
The discontinuation of production would have been a consequence of creator Charlie Brooker leaving producer House of Tomorrow, partner of the Endemol Shine group, in January 2020. He created a new company, Broke and Bones, and struck a new mega-deal. five years with Netflix, for an amount that according to Variety could reach 100 million dollars.
It is not yet known when the new season will premiere.
