However, after several weeks of unsuccessful attempts, Ian and Johanna began their IVF journey. A particularly difficult protocol for Johanna, both emotionally and physically. So much so that if IVF failed, the lawyer would not try anything else. A decision that clearly risks causing strain in his relationship.

Indeed, Ian is obsessed with the idea of ​​becoming a father to forget the hardships and suffering Johanna has endured since the beginning of this adventure. Due to the imbalance between their expectations and emotions, a distance was gradually established between them.

IVF didn’t work

In the episode that will air on October 2 and is already available on the France.tv platform, Johanna arrives at the farm. It must be said that the young woman has just learned that IVF did not work.

Tearfully, she confides in Ludo (Folco Marchi) how sad she is not to be pregnant. Ludo then immediately grabs him to comfort him.

“I knew we had little chance of making it work” she says. Although it doesn’t take away her disappointment, Ludo tries to calm her down and tell her that they can start over. However, Johanna has no desire to do it again.

Although she tries to talk to Ian about it, the latter is so obsessed with having children that the rest doesn’t matter. “When he saw that it was negative, he completely flipped and threw a burst of rage. In fact, I feel like she’s going through it all alone. His son’s desire, his desire to work, his frustration, everything! And I’m just being transparent“.

For Ludo, of course Ian doesn’t feel the same way, but Johanna disagrees. Indeed, the lawyer is under the impression that their relationship amounts to only that, and this does not suit him.
