Stop Making Sense, by Talking Heads, gets a free outdoor session in SP

The event is presented by O2 Play, responsible for the national distribution of the remastered version of the film, and the Carteirinha de Cinéfilo app

Stop Making Senseband concert film Talking Headsdirected by Jonathan Demmefrom The Silence of the Lambs (1991), which recently returned to Brazilian cinemas, will have a free, outdoor screening next Saturday, October 5th.

The event takes place outside the Cinemateca Brasileira (Largo Sen. Raul Cardoso, 207 – Vila Clementino – São Paulo/SP – CEP: 04021-070) and is presented by O2 Play, responsible for the national distribution of the remastered version of the film, and the Carteirinha de Cinéfilo app. The exhibition starts at 6:30 pm and is subject to capacity. What is it about Stop Making Sense?

Stop Making Sensewhich has already been considered by critics as the greatest concert film of all time, features records of three nights of performances by the band, responsible for hits such as “Psycho Killer”, “Take Me to the River” and “Once in a Lifetime”at the Pantages Theatre, Hollywood, in December 1983.

In 2021, the documentary was added to the United States Library of Congress’ National Film Registry, in recognition of its cultural and historical importance. Watch the trailer for Stop Making Sense:
