The dispute in the city of Inhaúma, central region of Minas Gerais, ended with a tie between the only two candidates for mayor, this Sunday 6. It is not the first time that he has assumed the office of mayor: he was responsible for public administration between 1997 and 2000, before returning in 2013 and remaining there until 2016. The politician was also a municipal councilor for two terms, from 1989 to 1996.
According to the 2022 census, Inhaúma has 6,239 inhabitants and is part of the Sete Lagoas microregion. In addition to the 4,868 valid votes, there were 71 blank votes, 92 invalid votes and 749 abstentions.
