On Tuesday, October 8, it all starts here…
Hippolytus becomes violent towards Laetitus
At the institute, Penelope and Billy join Laetitia, who is studying for the championship. As Billy apologizes on behalf of Tom and Thibault, Leticia suspects him of thinking the same way they do: that he doesn’t have the level to compete in the Maitre d’ Championship. So he rejects her excuses, determined to prove to them that he has his place in the competition.
After Billy leaves, Penelope admits to Laetitia that she is quite surprised by his change. Laetitia explains that she promised Hippolytus that she would keep her illness a secret for a few days, admitting that she is well suited for the championship.
In turn, Stanislaus confides in Antoine that he is worried about Laetitia. Indeed, he knows his father’s training methods and fears that he will use them on his partner. Antoine, on the contrary, thinks that he will be careful.
Meanwhile, Jasmine finds Thibod in the park. Since she still hasn’t seen Jimmy since returning to the Institute, Jasmine encourages her to talk to him. But Thibaut is sure that Jimmy will not forgive him for the kiss. He prefers to focus on the championship. At the same time, Jimmy joins them. He throws a fit of jealousy at his girlfriend, then accuses his brother of returning like a flower.
A little later, Jasmine finds Jim and tries to open his eyes to the situation. He knows very well that the two brothers love each other and want to reconcile, but neither of them dares to make the first move because they feel hurt. Jimmy admits he’s torn.
In the studio, Stanislas finds his father cooking. He notices his absence. Hippolytus pulls himself together and confirms that he is waiting for Madeleine to train. Stanislaus points out that his partner’s name is Laetitia, not Madeleine, which is his mother’s name. Hippolytus realizes his mistake and excuses himself by saying that he thinks a lot about his dead wife while cooking. Stanislas is also spotted making his signature dish, Turbo Eggplant.
But Stanislaus especially wants to know why his father agreed to coach Laetitia. In addition to the latter’s skills, which he sings about, Hippolyte states that he saw this opportunity as a way to get closer to his son. He then confides his fears about his training methods. Hippolytus assures him that there will be no problem.
At the same time, Laetitia arrives at the studio. Stanislas makes room for him. The young woman is delighted that the du Chesnais can speak to each other again. However, Hippolyte is not ready to tell her son that he has Alzheimer’s disease. So he focuses on training, teaching Laetitia to accurately describe dishes.
She starts with eggplant turbo and is a little carried away in her description to make a good impression. However, Hippolytus harshly criticizes him and calls him a lover. When Laetitia defends herself, Hippolytus suddenly changes his attitude and asks her to forgive him, with some amusement. He then gives advice on how to describe dishes accurately and honestly.
At the end of the training, Ippolit congratulates his student on his progress. But he calls her Madeleine and marries her, and invites her to come home after the restaurant closes. When Hippolyte leaves the studio to find her son, Laetitia tries to restrain him so that Stanislaus does not see him in this state. But Hippolytus violently grabs him by the shoulders and throws him against the door. Shocked, the young woman falls to the ground, and Hippolytus turns on his heel and leaves…
Lionel and Ines push Mateo to consciousness
After leaving the boarding school, Mateo spent the night on the couch at Laetitia’s house. When he wakes up, he offers to put away the dishes from the previous day. But Lionel and Ines make him believe that they are used to eating scraps lying around.
Meanwhile, in the kitchen, Solal and Vicki point out to Jude that he’s a little manic around the edges.
At the end of the day, Mateo returns to Letitia’s house. Then he finds Inez’s dirty socks on the pillow. An exhausted young man takes care of his household chores.
Lionel and Ines are happy that their plan has worked: Mateo has started to tidy up and clean everything himself!
Leonard is ready to do everything to defeat Gaspard
In the park, Leonard complains to Gaspard about Maya because she keeps him from sleeping. Indeed, the new fashion for ruining his fellow man’s life is to listen to opera songs too loudly.
Gaspard then offers him a deal: whoever wins the next OZ challenge gets to keep the room for three days. Leonardo accepts without hesitation. Maya warns her best friend that the start of the next challenge, which consists of not saying a word, is in three hours, right when it’s her turn.
At Double A, Delobel comes to the counter for coffee during work. He then surprises Leonard, who remains silent in the face of the user’s questions until Saber helps him answer them. When DeLobel asks for an explanation, Sabre claims that Leonard is suffering from the loss of his voice and they have arranged for it not to interfere with work.
In the management office, DeLobel talks about the situation with Antoine and Clotilde. The latter confirms that he had the same problem with Gaspar during the course. Nevertheless, he still ended the conversation when the boss threatened to fire him. Suspicious of the general movement of stakes among the students, DeLobel decides to tighten his tone.
In turn, Leonard celebrates the victory with Maya and Malik. After the challenge, he is now at the top of the OZ rankings. The young man can’t help but mock Gaspar, reminding him of the terms of their deal: their room is his for three days!
