Monday, 10/7/2024: Master Trick: The 2nd Act
Synopsis:”In Trick of a Master: The 2nd Act, After deceiving the FBI, knights Daniel Atlas (Jesse Eisenberg), Merritt McKinney (Woody Harrelson) and Jack Wilder (Dave Franco) are on the run. They follow the orders of Dylan Rhodes (Mark Ruffalo), who continues to work at the FBI in order to prevent advances in the search for the knights themselves. At the same time, the group plans its new act: unmasking a young computer genius, whose new release collects users’ personal data.
Tuesday, 10/8/2024: The 33
Synopsis: ”Capiapó, Chile. A cave-in causes the only entrance and exit to a mine to be sealed, trapping 33 miners more than 700 meters below sea level. They stay in a place called a refuge and, led by Mario Sepúlveda (Antonio Banderas), they need to ration the food available. At the same time, Energy Minister Laurence Golborne (Rodrigo Santoro) does his best to get the miners rescued, facing technical difficulties and time itself.”
Wednesday, 10/9/2024: Iron Man
Synopsis: Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) is a billionaire industrialist who is also a brilliant inventor. When he is kidnapped, he is forced by terrorists to build a devastating weapon but, instead, he builds high-tech armor that allows him to escape his captivity. From then on he starts using it to fight crime, under the alter-ego of Iron Man.
Thursday, 10/10/2024: The Great Miracle
Synopsis: In The Great Miracle, a family of whales is trapped under the Arctic ice and reporter Adam Carlson (John Krasinski) cannot accept the situation. Willing to change this reality, he begins a real battle alongside Rachel Kramer (Drew Barrymore), a Greenpeace activist, to save the gray whale species. Together, they manage to mobilize people from different groups, such as natives of the region, employees of oil companies and even Americans and Russians, historical enemies during the Cold War.
