Taylor Swift surpasses Rihanna to become the richest singer in the world

Taylor is the only artist to have virtually all of her fortune coming from music performances and releases

The luck of Taylor Swift arrived at US$1.6 billion (R$8.77 billion)making it become the the richest singer in the worldaccording to the magazine’s data Forbes. The title previously belonged to Rihannawho currently has an estimated net worth of US$1.4 billion (R$7.67 billion).

According to the North American publication, Taylor entered the billionaires list in October last year thanks to the success of her world tour The Tour of the Ages.

On the other hand, Rihanna has been on this list the longest, having reached the peak of her wealth in 2022, when her assets were valued at $1.7 billion (R$9.31 billion). The singer, who hasn’t released a new album since 2016, she became a billionaire thanks to the success of her cosmetics brand Fenty beauty.

As of 2022, however, his fortune has decreased by $300 million and has remained stagnant for a year.
