The American platform Hulu has released the first teaser for season 5 of “The Handmaid’s Tale”, which highlights a confrontation between the former handmaid June (Elisabeth Moss) and the current widow Serena (Yvonne Strahovski).
The preview is all about the aftermath of the murder of Commander Waterford (Joseph Fiennes) after seeking asylum in Canada, with funeral scenes and a lot of media attention given to the widow Waterford, paving the way for extremist conservative discourse to reach the country, until when, therefore, safe for runaway maids.
The new season doesn’t have a preview date yet. In Brazil, the series is made available by Globoplay and Paramount +.
