A Complete Stranger, Bob Dylan biopic, gets new trailer

New film stars Timothée Chalamet (Dune: Part 2) and is directed by James Mangold (Indiana Jones and the Hallow of Destiny)

Searchlight Pictures released, this Tuesday (8), a new trailer for A Complete Stranger(A Complete Unknownin the original), biopic of Bob Dylan starring Timothée Chalamet (Dune: Part 2), which opens soon in theaters.

What is the story of A Complete Stranger?

A Complete Stranger portrays a young man’s journey Bob Dylan from Minnesota to New York to meet the singer Woody Guthrie (Scoot McNairy, blonde) during an iconic performance, which took place in 1965 at the Newport Folk Festival, when he inserted an electric guitar into his show and took admirers to the folk to madness.

In addition to Timothée Chalamet and Scott McNairythe film — which should focus on the meteoric rise of Dylan in the music world in the early 1960s — still has Elle Fanning (Neon Demon) as Sylvie Russogirlfriend of Dylan when I was in college; Edward Norton (Asteroid City) as the musician Pete Seeger; and Boyd Holbrook (Logan) as the singer Johnny Cash.

When does it debut A Complete Stranger?

Written by Jay Cocks (New York Gangs) and directed by James Mangold (Indiana Jones and the Relic of Destiny), A Complete Stranger hits North American theaters starting December 25th. Here, however, there is still no confirmed release date. Watch the trailer:
