Last Tuesday afternoon (8), Minister Alexandre de Moraes authorized the release of X, formerly Twitter, in Brazil, after more than a month of blocking. This is because the social network had been suspended in the country until the requests of the Federal Supreme Court (STF) were satisfied.
In compliance with the decisions of Elon Musk, owner of the platform, X was authorized to operate in Brazil. Among the actions taken, the application identified a legal representative in the country, paid outstanding fines and blocked profiles spreading anti-democratic content.
Although Alexandre de Moraes has approved the use of X in Brazil, users still face instability of the service. This is because the block was imposed by internet operators. Therefore, the Judiciary turned to the National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel) to ensure the full resumption of the service.
In this way, the agency has a 24-hour deadline to ensure the social network is fully restored and, finally, X returns!
