Zeekr has finally arrived in Brazil. The electric sports car brand that belongs to the Geely group – the same owner as Volvo – presented the 001 station wagon on Thursday evening (10) in Sao Paulo (SP).
With a shooting-brake format, the 001 will be the first car offered by the company here. It is already in the pre-booking phase and deliveries are scheduled for November. There are two versions: the Premium, entry-level, which costs R$ 428,000; and the top-of-the-range Flagship, which is priced at R$475 thousand.
Based on the announced values, the goal is clear: to be another option for customers of the Volvo XC40 and C40, BMW iX1 and iX2 and even larger models, such as the BYD Tan and Kia EV5.
After all, it makes sense that the Zeekr 001 is a large Shooting Brake, with dimensions similar to a Porsche Taycan Sport Turismo, thanks to its length of 4.95 m.
The powertrain of both versions is the same: a set of two motors, positioned one on each axle, with a power of 544 hp. According to the brand, the 001 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and can travel up to 426 kilometers according to Inmetro’s PBEV cycle.
Furthermore, the company guarantees that the station wagon can recover from 10% to 80% of the battery in half an hour thanks to compatibility with ultra-fast chargers.
In terms of equipment, the 001 comes standard with a full ADAS package; premium audio system from Yamaha; digital climate control with three cooling zones and LED headlights, lanterns and ambient lights.
The most expensive configuration adds adaptive suspension; 22-inch wheels; seats with massage and climate control; Rear-seat LCD screen and two-tone bodywork, including the unique orange color.
Interested? Take advantage: those who complete the purchase by the end of the year get an extra year of warranty (five for the car and eight for the electrical system); three years of 5G connectivity and a wall charger.
Zeekr already has 10 stores open, in six Brazilian states – Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Santa Catarina, Rio Grande do Sul, Paraná and Pernambuco -, as well as the Federal District.
