Minas Gerais firefighters have confirmed the identity of the six victims who were on board a company helicopter that crashed in the Ouro Preto region, during the search for a single-engine plane missing in the region.

Among the victims are four firefighters, a doctor and a nurse from the Mobile Emergency Service (Samu). According to the company, the victims’ bodies were taken to the Legal Medical Institute (IML) in Belo Horizonte to undergo examinations.
