Ary Toledo died this Saturday (12), at the age of 87, and the cause of his death was revealed by the Sírio Libanês Hospital

This Saturday (12), marks a very sad day for lovers of Brazilian culture and humor, with the death of Ary Toledoone of the greatest representatives of the genre in Brazil. The death was announced on the artist’s social networks and, now, the cause finally came to light.

Ary Toledo was 87 years old and had been hospitalized at Sírio Libanês hospital since October 2. After the star’s death was revealed, the institution’s communications team confirmed that the actor died due to pneumonia.

According to information from the A Tarde website, Ary Toledo had already been hospitalized for pneumonia two other times. On one occasion in 2021, he spent three months in bed and had 30% of his lungs affected.

On social media, Ary Toledo’s team mourned his death: “With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Ary Christoni de Toledo, a brilliant comedian who brightened our lives with his talent and laughter. May his I remember continuing to bring smiles to all of us.” … We will miss you, Master.”
