Pull out the blankets and make a delicious cup of hot chocolate! It’s the moment we’ve (almost) all been waiting for: the return of Christmas TV movies on TF1. And year after year, the channel offers this beautiful gift, always with a little extra upfront.
Although last year, the season started on October 23rd, this year, this very Monday, October 14th, you can find a new TV movie that will immerse you in the magic of Christmas.
Good news for die-hard holidaymakers who will be able to bring out garlands and other Christmas decorations even before Halloween is over.
Starting this Monday, October 14, the channel will offer at least two movies every weekday until the end of the year. The first, the new one, will be broadcast at 14:20, and the second, the program, at 16:00.
On the program: wood fires in the fireplace, snowy surroundings, ugly sweaters, good feelings, magic, love, and cinnamon-scented rosewater scenarios. What more could you ask for?
Two stars of the 90s are teaming up
To kick off the celebration, TF1 has called upon one of the genre’s most important figures, Lacy Chabert, for a TV movie like no other, as it signs on to reunite the actress with her co-star Scott Wolf. La vie à cinq, a cult series from the 90s.
In My Christmas Carol, two actors play Lindsay and Brad, brother and sister who spend Christmas in Scotland at the invitation of their mother. Little do they imagine that this trip will be an opportunity to revisit their past and change their lives forever…
At 4pm, viewers will be able to find Lacey Chabert at Christmas at the Enchanted Castle. She plays Brooke Bennett for the occasion. Brooke, accompanied by her sister Margot (Ally Hardiman), decides to go to Ireland to join her late father’s family.
There he meets Aiden (Stuart Townsend), the Earl of Glaslof and Master of Castle Hart. To organize the castle’s annual gala, a young woman pretends to work for a well-known events agency. However, his lies may just get to him…
Watch two Christmas TV movies every day from Monday to Friday on TF1 from 2.20pm.
