Rated 4.2 out of 5, this is the best sci-fi series of 2023 and finally returns with a season 2 that promises to be incredible!

It was the sci-fi sensation of 2023, and it’s back next month. Rated 4.2 out of 5 by AlloCiné viewers, it’s simply one of the best futuristic series of recent times.

An adaptation of Hugh Howey’s dystopian short story trilogy of the same name, The Silo is a critically acclaimed and especially public fiction. Created by Graham Yost, who cut his teeth on Band of Brothers, Band of Brothers: Pacific Rim and Justified, this dystopia plunges us into a future where the Earth has been destroyed because the air has become toxic.

The few survivors are trapped in a giant 144-story underground silo and live in a society that is bound by a series of very strict rules designed to protect them.

Citizens who break the law are sent outside the cabin, condemned to perish there in the breathing atmosphere. However, little by little, the idea that leaders are lying about what is happening outside is gaining ground…

Season 2, which will reshuffle all the cards

Highly anticipated by fans, Silo Season 2 will soon land on Apple TV+ and promises to be explosive and terrifying if the official trailer is anything to go by. Remember the cliffhanger at the end of the inaugural season: Juliet, an engineer searching for answers to the murder of a loved one, discovers the truth about Silo.

The heroine from the silo, played by Rebecca Ferguson, is presumed dead, but the engineer is very much alive. He then becomes a figure of hope and leads a rebellion in search of truth and a better future for those living in Silo.

The trailer states that Juliet will still have to fight and face many high-ranking enemies, and above all, she is still far from knowing the full truth about Silos and what it really hides.

The rest of the cast includes Tim Robbins, Common, Harriet Walter, Chinasa Uche, Avi Nash, Alexandria Riley, Shane McRae, Iain Glenn and Steve Zahn. The second season of Silo will air from November 15.

The first season of “Silo” is available on Apple TV+, the platform and via myCANAL.
