The continuation of this Netflix series that destroyed subscribers promises! Her Heroine Kristen Bell “Hasn’t Felt Like This Since Freezing”

This series has reached Netflix subscribers since its release and its popularity continues. A big surprise fall hit for the platform, winning over critics and audiences who gave it a 3.8 out of 5 rating on AlloCiné, this feel-good romantic comedy has been a boon to audiences.

The series Nobody Wants This attracted subscribers thanks to the atypical love story of Joan and Noah, played by two stars of the 2000s Kristen Bell (Veronica Mars) and Adam Brody (Newport Beach), its funny and modern vision for relationship lovers and its delicious. secondary characters.

Faced with the success of the series, Netflix has renewed the program for Season 2, barely 15 days after the launch of the inaugural season. And its creator, Erin Foster, who was inspired by her own life, has been joined by Jenny Connery (Girls) and Bruce Eric Kaplan (Girls, Six Feet Under) for these 2 seasons… and maybe as soon as a third season. ?

Season 3 for Nobody Wants This?

during the interview The Hollywood ReporterErin Foster explained that she had already been working on writing Season 2 for several weeks and that it already promised to be intense:

“Kristen came into the writers’ room with Justin to hear some of the stories we were working on. And she was so excited, she said she hadn’t felt this way since Frozen.”

That’s why the creator and writers are already hard at work on Nobody Wants This Season 2 and maybe even Season 3. Indeed, Erin Foster is already thinking far ahead and already has ideas for other seasons. Which is not surprising, given that she draws on her personal life for inspiration:

“There’s a lot of stories to tell. It’s funny because we were in the writers’ room working on stories and we keep putting them together and we’re like, ‘This is for season three,’ and we were. Like, ‘Should we form a committee and send them season three at the same time?’ Because we We have ideas.”

A second season that is similar to the first burst of episodes

But that doesn’t mean the sequel to Nobody Wants This will literally rewrite his life. Even if she does not want to disappoint the public and follow a logical plot, there will be a difference between Joan’s journey and her life, as in the first season:

“Joan doesn’t necessarily have the same experience that I have in real life. We always use my experience as a model that we can build off of if it works and if the writers are excited about the idea. But she’s human in her own way. She has her own rights.

Erin Foster, who is very attached to the project, hopes that the series will have several seasons, as it develops at a rather slow pace and Joan’s growing evolution regarding the vision of love and religion:

“When I first developed the idea, I envisioned getting engaged or married at the end of the first season, and Netflix kept telling us to slow down.

Finally, it was a really good story because it makes you feel like you are experiencing the relationship in real time. So I think about the second season, I don’t want to break the system that we have. I think we’ll pick up more or less where we left off.”
