The film, not yet officially confirmed by Universal Pictures, is scheduled for release in the US in July 2026
According to an article published by the magazine Variety this Monday (October 21), the actor Tom Hollandfamous for playing the Spider-Man node Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU)is in negotiations to join the cast of the renowned director’s next film Christopher Nolan. Although the project has not yet been officially confirmed by Universal Picturesthe presence of Matt Damon in the film is already guaranteed, as announced on the website.
If the deal is closed, Holland would star alongside Damon in a project that, like many Nolan productions, remains shrouded in mystery. The director, famous for his complex and visually impactful narratives, is writing and directing the film, which is scheduled to premiere in the United States on July 17, 2026.
The next feature, which does not yet have a title, should begin filming in early 2025.
Christopher Nolan is famous for productions such as The Origin (2010), Interstellar(2014), Dunkirk (2017) and the recent phenomenon Oppenheimer (2023), which grossed US$975 million at the global box office and won the Oscar for Best Film.
