One of the biggest soap operas in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has just gained a new chapter: Bladewhich should bring Mahershala Ali (Moonlight: Under the Light of the Moon) as the vampire hunter, was postponed again and will no longer be released in 2025.

According to information from the Deadlinethe feature was taken from next year’s Marvel release calendar — which includes Captain America: Brave New World (February 13), Thunderbolts* (May 1st) and Fantastic Four: Getting Started (July 24) — and has not yet received a new release date.

Despite the postponement, Marvel added three new release dates for its films: February 18, 2028, May 5, 2028 and November 10, 2028. However, there is no confirmation whether any of them are reserved for Blade.

What do we know about Blade until now?

Blade debuted in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in a post-credits scene of Eternalsa 2021 feature film, although it did not appear in the film.
