One of the most prominent actors in Hollywood in recent years, who was highly praised for acting in productions such as The Bear and Iron Claw (2023), Jeremy Allen White was chosen to play Bruce Springsteen in a biopic – and the artist is “perfect” for the role, according to the businessman Jon Landau.
Entitled Deliver Me From Nowhere (still no official title defined in Brazil) and based on the book Deliver Me from Nowhere: The Making of Bruce Springsteen’s Nebraskawritten by Warren Zanesthe film will show Springsteen during the production of the iconic singer’s sixth studio album.
“My God, he’s just perfect. The cast is great. [O diretor] Scott [Cooper] told me at the beginning, ‘We’ve got the right cast, and we’re going to tell this story right,’ and he got the right cast,” he said. Landau in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter (via NME).
Already Jeremy Strongknown for playing Kendall Roy in the four seasons of Successionwill play the artist’s manager in the biopic: “I died and went to heaven. He’s a great guy. We had the chance to get to know each other, and I’m dying to see what he does and what I learn from it. “
