It All Begins Here: What’s in store for Wednesday 23 October 2024 Episode 1030 [SPOILERS]

On Wednesday, October 23, it all starts here…

Antoine and Penelope are separated

At a cafe in town, Antoine confides in Rose about his relationship problems with Penelope. Indeed, the latter found out that he was going to propose marriage to her and refused. Despite everything, Antoine admits that he really wants things to work out between them. Rose urges him to contact Penelope.

Meanwhile, at the Institute, Leonard is only 50 points behind Gaspar in the OZ rankings. But Elder DeLabel comes to Elder Listrak’s classroom to call the young man to a disciplinary board after taking a selfie of him with the school flag. Maya immediately suspects that Gaspar told Leonard to the headmaster.

In the park, Antoine and Penelope meet to talk. The young woman declares that she is truly in love with him and is serious about their relationship even if she does not feel ready for marriage. Antoine is perfectly willing to wait until he finishes his studies. Reconciled with his girlfriend, the deputy director has to go to the next office. If she believes that Leonard is guilty, Penelope points out that he does not deserve to be expelled from school. He also informs his companion that he was awake while he brought the flag down from the tower. Antoine is annoyed.

In the management office, Listrac’s supervisor manages to convince DeLobel to give Leonard one last chance, simply by sanctioning him with two months of diving. But Antoine receives a three-day suspension as well as a disciplinary warning that appears in his file. In the end, DeLobele leans toward that option, much to Leonard’s dismay.

A little later, Antoine meets Jasmine in the park and confides in her about Penelope. A misunderstanding ensues where Jasmine believes that Penelope has revealed to her companion that she suffers from heart problems and that she had a heart attack two years ago. Antoine is shocked.

Jasmine only has time to warn Penelope of her mistake before Antoine finds her. He does not understand why she did not tell him anything and accuses him of usury. Penelope replies that she was pathetic for punishing Leonard so harshly. Then the couple decides to separate.

At boarding school, Penelope complains to Maya about Antoine. Both believe that what is happening to Leonardo is unfair. At the same time, Gaspar is surprised when he is outside cleaning his room. Given the circumstances, he would surely win their bet and keep their room forever. Except OZ has a new challenge: the student who jumps off the terrace wins 500 points. If Leonardo is unable to accept the challenge, Penelope offers to do it in his place. Gaspard accepts and arranges a meeting with him the next day at 5 o’clock on the terrace…

Stanislaus cannot break off his relationship with Laetitia

Convinced that Stanislaus is having a hard time breaking up with Laetitia, Hortense wants to be there to support him and encourages Alice to do the same. However, while serving at Double A, the two women realize that Stanislas is doing very well. When Hortense asks him directly about it, the head waiter confirms that he is going ahead.

After the service, Alice and Hortense meet Lionel in the park. Hortense takes the opportunity to ask if she has any news from Laetitia. This is how he learns that the two exes are still in daily phone contact.

Back at Double A, Hortense and Alice confront Stanislas about it. The latter admits the truth and admits that it is very difficult to cut his link very suddenly. But he also realizes that his friends are right and that he will have to cut off contact with Laetitia forever.

Vardi criticizes Joachim’s cooking

Rose dines with Clotilda and Joachim. The latter used to cook endives with ham. In order to teach her sister to think critically about cooking, Clotilda encourages her to judge her husband’s cooking. Rose notices everything in the dish.

A little later, Joachim joins Rose and Constance in Institute Park. As Rose leaves, the young man confesses to Constance that he is saddened by the loss of the only family member who is not passionate about cooking. Constance sympathizes with his plight. Joachim then invites her to join him and takes Mare out to dinner with her roommate.

In the evening, the three gather around a meal prepared by Gaëtan: pasta carbonara with crème fraîche! Then they share their anecdotes about life with people who love to cook and bake and enjoy their freedom to eat the way they want.
