It’s one of the best sci-fi series ever, and it’s finally coming back: the first images of season two are finally here!

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by AlloCiné viewers, this sci-fi series is considered one of the best in recent years. Praised by the public but also by critics, this unique production has become a true phenomenon thanks to word of mouth.

The series has already made its mark on popular culture in just one season so far, earning no less than 14 Emmy Award nominations, including Best Original Score and Best Original Score, and Best New Series and Best Drama. Series on the Writers Guild of America Awards.

Three years after the success of its inaugural season, Severance is finally coming back with a second season that promises to be even more exciting. At any rate, that’s what the trailer for these new episodes released by Apple TV+ suggests.

The public will have to forget what little certainty it had after season 1, as the episodes for the second season of the Ben Stiller-created and Dan Erickson-created series seem to be pushing all the cards.

The 2nd season of “The Breakup” has been revealed

For a reinforcing shot, Severance tells the story of Mark Scout (Adam Scott), who works at Lumon Industries. The employees of this company have all undergone surgery to separate their memories related to their professional life and their personal life.

This risky experiment in work-life balance is challenged when Mark finds himself at the center of a mystery that forces him to confront the true nature of his work…and himself.

And in the trailer for season 2, Mark is not the end of his problems, as he discovers to his cost that we are not joking with the limits of dissociation and, above all, that things can be very different! After getting lost in the corridors of Lumon, Mark, who calls himself Marcus, discovers that his team has changed!

We’ll have to wait until Season 2 launches on Apple TV+ on January 17, 2025 to find out what it’s all about. The first two episodes will be available on that date, followed by a new episode every Friday until March 21.

In addition to Adam Scott, the cast for the second round of Severance episodes will include: Britt Lower, Trammell Tillman, Zach Cherry, Jen Tulloch, Michael Chernus, Dichen Lachman, John Turturro, Christopher Walken and Patricia Arquette. Sarah Bock, who joins the cast.

The first season of “Severance” is available on AppleTV+, the platform and via myCANAL.
