In an interview with Record TV, Irani revealed that the former boxer, 66, had been hospitalized for 28 days, just days after discovering a nodule in the lung. A decade ago, Maguila was diagnosed Boxing dementiaalso known as Boxer syndrome OR Chronic traumatic encephalopathy.
“He was hospitalized for 28 days and we tried not to talk to the press, because I tried to take care of my family. It’s everyone’s time. Maguila had been suffering from chronic traumatic encephalopathy for 18 years… 30 days ago , a nodule was discovered in his lung, he felt severe pain in his abdomen, two liters of water were removed from his lung, we could not do the biopsy,” his wife said.
