Even cinema’s most famous secret agent can occasionally let a little gaffe slip into one of his films. In Casino Royale, the 21st opus in the legendary James Bond saga, broadcast tonight on France 3, it’s actually possible to find a few mistakes when you know exactly where to look for them.
That’s what our friends Michelle and Michelle blasted in a special episode of Faux Raccord dedicated to the first two feature films in the 007 franchise, hosted by Daniel Craig. Among the many mistakes that litter the adventures of our beloved spy, some are more egregious than others.
In 16 minutes and 23 seconds…
For example, when re-watching Casino Royale, I recommend pressing the “Pause” button on your remote control during the memorable chase in Madagascar at 16 minutes and 23 seconds into the movie.
In addition to the fact that we can clearly see Daniel Craig’s stunt double at the beginning of the scene, as well as the anti-slip strips on the crane structure to prevent the actors from falling, this is when the terrorist Molaka arrives. Nambutu Embassy advises you to be extra careful.
…Molacca’s papers came before him!
Out of breath after trying to escape from James Bond, the character takes a short break at the entrance to the building. However, before we get there, we see that the soldier is already checking the documents at the entrance.
Unless the documents belong to someone else (which is unlikely given that Molaka is alone in front of the embassy), this is a huge fake connection!
Have you noticed any other bugs in Casino Royale?
