Botafogo’s SAF shareholder, John Textor, published a video of the team celebrating the qualification for the Libertadores decider, this Wednesday, at the Centenário, in Montevideo. He highlighted the history that is being made and left a message for the players.
“The first Libertadores final in the history of Botafogo. Enjoy, guys. Have fun. You deserve it!”, wrote John Textor on Instagram.
Botafogo lost the match 3-1, but advanced 6-3 on aggregate. In the final they will face Atlético-MG on November 30, at the Más Monumental, in Buenos Aires.
Before the Libertadores decision, Botafogo becomes the key to the Brasileirão. Leader with three points more than Palmeiras, second in the standings, the Juventus team will play the classic against Vasco, next Tuesday, at the Nilton Santos Stadium, for the 32nd matchday.
