Attention fans game of Thrones! Five years after the airing of its last chapter, the series may return, but in a slightly different form. Warner Bros. is developing a film in the universe created by George RR Martin.
According to the The Hollywood journalistthere is already a first phase of the project within the studio. However, there is no confirmed director, writer or cast yet. Furthermore, there is no information on a possible release date for the film.
One of HBO’s most successful series, game of Thrones it is often mentioned in lists of the best and most important television productions of all time. The series is an adaptation of the A Song of Ice and Fire books, written by George RR Martin.
The plot consists of a medieval fantasy about the dispute for the Iron Throne between several noble families; whoever conquers it will be the leader of the Seven Kingdoms. The series is filled with grand landscapes, mysteries, epic battles and palace intrigue, all with exquisite production design, costumes and special effects.
In total there were 73 episodes divided into eight seasons, between 2011 and 2019. HADas well as the spin-off The House of the Dragonare available to stream on Max.
