According to the final poll by the New York Times/Siena College, the Democratic candidate Kamala Harris and the Republican Donald Trump remain fighting in the seven crucial states of the country two days before the US presidential elections.
The poll showed Vice President Kamala with small leads in Nevada, North Carolina and Wisconsin, while former President Trump was slightly ahead in Arizona.
The two are still at odds in Michigan, Georgia and Pennsylvania, according to the poll, which surveyed 7,879 likely voters in the seven states between Oct. 24 and Nov. 2.
In all seven states, races fell within the poll’s 3.5% margin of error.
About 40% of respondents have already voted, and Kamala leads among these voters by 8 percentage points, while Trump leads among voters who say they are most likely to vote but have not yet done so, according to the poll .
The tie in Pennsylvania shows Trump advancing in a state where Kamala led by four percentage points in all previous New York Times polls, the newspaper said.
