Matthew Lewisinterpreter of Neville Longbottom in the franchise Harry Potterwas worried about the end of the film series.

During Rhode Island Comic Con, which took place last weekend, the actor said that the transition to adult life in the industry after the end of the saga in 2011 was “complicated” (via NME).

He explained on the panel that there was “a lot of apprehension” about whether he “would be able to stand out in a bigger picture.”

“That being said, I was still very excited about the possibility,” he confessed. “I get distracted easily, so maybe that’s why I never chose a traditional career. [Depois de] ten years in Harry PotterI was ready to do something different and I also didn’t want anything that would lead to multiple series.”

Lewis he added that he “had no idea what was coming next” and “wasn’t prepared at all.” The friendships made during the feature films, however, helped him, said the actor.

“One of the questions they asked before was about the pitfalls of being a child actor, which we managed to avoid. I would say that this is largely due to the fact that we are all together”, he argued.
