The Serie spin-off of ‘The Boys’the irreverent hit of Amazon Prime Video, will be titled officially ‘Gen V’. The spin-off series will thus join the other existing spin-off, ‘The Boys: Diabolical’ (for you to be up to date, here are the keys to the 8 chapters of ‘The Boys: Diabolical’)
We have known about this project for almost two years, so it could be argued that the new twitter video ad was necessary.
In it, the cast members Jaz Sinclair, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Lizze Broadway, Chance Perdomo, London Thor, Asa Germann, Maddie Phillips, and Derek Luh tease what’s to come after revealing the title, which alludes to the “Compound V” super serum, which, thanks to its use during the third season, has given us some of the best episodes of ‘The Boys’.
“It’s going to be a roller coaster, it’s going to be full of blood and gore and everything else”, “This is fucked up, you’re going to like it”, “This is going to blow your mind!” and “Superheroes, college, what could possibly go wrong?” are just some of the appointments that raise the pulse.

On the spin-off’s genesis, showrunner Eric Kripke previously told Entertainment Weekly: “Wouldn’t it be great if we could take superheroes and make one of the most realistic college shows ever made? Because it doesn’t get done very often.” “It’s a totally different animal.”
With production already well advanced and the third season of ‘The Boys’ just finished, we hope that ‘Gen V’ can reach Amazon Prime Video next year, and if it does so hand in hand with the fourth season of ‘The Boys’ ‘, better.
