During a special event celebrating 60 years of the James Bond franchise, Daniel Craig revealed that he has no interest in who will be the next actor to play the iconic secret agent. Craig, who first brought Bond to life in 2006 with the film Casino Royaleparticipated in several films until his definitive exit in 2021, in 007 – No Time to Die.

Asked by Variety who he would like to see take on the role, Craig was blunt:

Production on a new James Bond film is still in its early stages. In 2023, the producer Greg Wilson confirmed that, although the release of a new feature film is planned, the project is not in active development. Meanwhile, speculation about the next Bond continues. The producers stated that they will not look for an actor who is too young.
