Master Crimes season 2 concludes on TF1 this Thursday 7 November 2024 at 9.05pm. Like last week, viewers will be offered only one new episode. In this episode, several mysterious suicides lead Louise to suspect the influence of a sectarian movement…
A third season for ‘Master Crimes’?
Clues lead his team to a group of people seemingly manipulated by astrological beliefs. When a comet is imminent, they must act quickly to prevent further casualties. Will our hero and his students be able to solve this investigation?
Another question is on the minds of all Master Crimes fans. Indeed, will Muriel Robin and Anne Le Nen’s fiction return for a third season? AlloCiné spoke with Fabien Adda, director of the series’ collection.
With no official order for TF1’s third round of episodes at the moment, he still told us: “I believe the third season is already completely written. Filming would be a priori in February-March 2025But then, what could happen in the next adventure of Louise and her students if this is confirmed? A Major Stakeholder shows the authors’ explored (but not necessarily definitive) avenues for future Master Crimes intrigue. .
“We find out everything that happened with Delaney, Mia’s father, in the last episode of season 2, how this event affected Louise in the past, and how she makes up for this mistake, which is a failure in her life. Fixing this mistake will also allow him to fix a large part of his psyche, I think…”
What can happen next?
“So it’s very possible that in the third season, Louise will be completely different, because she will be freed from this weight, from the injury that hinders her in certain areas.Fabien Adda imagined. He did not feel at ease knowing that he could be wrong like Delaunay. But now that it’s settled, he risks becoming even more insufferable because he now knows he’s infallible. !”
“We really wanted to run Season 3 with something very, very strong around Louie’s character, so why not with a case that could directly involve his son in the United States. It doesn’t force him to leave, but it forces him to decide the case of a family member from France for the first time. This will allow us to see the appearance of Louise’s mother’s side.“, suggests the director of the Master Crimes collection.
“Will this avenue eventually be explored? I don’t know at all… but the producer and the authors really want to limit Louisa to a professional status. If something happens to his family, he then becomes vulnerable… It might impair his judgment or analysis and therefore put him at risk at work, which would be interesting story-wise.”Fabien Adda concludes.
Will the potential areas for story development remain? Answer the year 2025 in the highly anticipated Season 3 of Master Crimes.
