Corinthians end a drought of more than three years after recording a fourth consecutive victory

THE Corinthians achieved his fourth consecutive victory in the Brazilian Championship after beating Vitória 2-1in Barradao. On Saturday 9th the duel valid for the 33rd round of the Brazilian Championship was played.

The Juventus team concluded a fast by obtaining a positive result. Corinthians had not won four consecutive matches in the Brasileirão from the end of 2020 to the beginning of 2021.

On that occasion Corinthians beat Sao Paulo (1-0), Goiás (2-1), Botafogo (2-0) and Fluminense (5-0). The team at the time was led by Vagner Mancini.

In the last four rounds of the current Brazilian championship, Corinthians defeated Atletico-PR, Cuiabá, Palmeiras and Vitória.

The results strengthened the Parque São Jorge club in the league table. Corinthians is in tenth place, with 41 points. The Juventus team opened with a five-point lead over Red Bull Bragantino, the team that opens the relegation zone.

Ramón Díaz’s team returns to the field on November 20, against Cruzeiro, at the Neo Química Arena, in the 34th round of the Brasileirão.
