An iconic figure in Tomorrow Belongs to Us when it premiered in July 2017, Lori Pester, the interpreter for former police lieutenant Lucy Salducci, said goodbye to the daily TF1 series in June 2019 to devote herself to other projects.
Since then, the actor and singer made a surprise return in February 2021 in the company of Guillaume Fauré, the unforgettable wedding ring killer, who Lucy fell madly in love with.
A return that unfortunately ended in tragedy after Lucy and Mark, who were on the run, were thrown from the prison hand in hand over a cliff.
But if Mark Vere’s body was found washed up on the beach, Lucy’s body would go unnoticed… enough to leave the door open for Laurie Pester to return to the series.
In September 2022, the actor also confided to our colleagues at Télé Loisirs: “When I decided to leave the series, it was a test for other roles. I told the production that I didn’t want to leave forever. That’s why we leave our doors open every time. I would love to come back from time to time.”
But three years after her last appearance, can Laurie Pester reprise her role in Tomorrow Belongs to Us?
Is Laurie Pester coming back to Tomorrow Belongs Us soon?
It is in the columns of the magazine Recreational television That Lori Pester answered the question. “At this time, I have no plans to return to Tomorrow Belongs to Us as Lucy“, he explains.
And let’s continue: “I came back last year, but this time as a director for a few episodes. It was an enriching experience and I loved learning about the series from a new perspective. For now, I am focused on new projects, especially directing, but who knows what lies ahead!“
The door remains open despite everything…
