In the team’s second training session, Dorival Jr had all the players available and made the final adjustments before the duel away from home
This Tuesday (12), the Brazilian team continued its preparation to face Venezuela, in a duel valid for the eleventh round of the qualifiers, away from home. It was the team’s second training session at the Estádio do Mangueirão, in Belém (PA).
It is in fact the first time that Dorival Jr. can count on all the players called up. The players were well received by the Pará fans present on site. As soon as they got off the bus, the athletes returned the affection, stopping to take photos and sign autographs with the fans.
The CBF says it brought the team to Belém for logistical reasons. After all, the city of Maturín, the scene of the clash between Brazil and Venezuela, is only two hours by plane from the capital of Pará. This way, players are spared a longer journey, which could cause wear and tear in the next game.
However, Brazil will still train this Wednesday morning (13th), in Mangueirão, and then travel to the match venue. The Brazilian team occupies 4th place in the Qualifying table, with 16 points. Venezuela is in eighth place, with 11 points.
