Two years after Nothing New in the West triumphed at the 95th Academy Awards and won the Oscar for Best International Film, German director Eduard Berger directs a new adaptation of the best-selling novel. Conclave by Robert Harris, this time for the big screen.

Expected to hit theaters on December 4, this gripping thriller takes viewers into the heart of the Vatican as a new pontiff must be elected. The perfect setting for an exciting closed session amidst shenanigans, secrets and power games!

When the Pope dies suddenly and mysteriously, Cardinal Lawrence finds himself responsible for organizing the election of his successor. As the political machinations in the Vatican intensify, he realizes that the deceased has been keeping a secret from them that he must reveal before a new pope is elected. What happens beyond these walls will change the face of the world.

The film stars actor Ralph Fiennes (Schindler’s List, No Time To Die, The Harry Potter Saga) as Cardinal Lawrence, who is in charge of presiding over the conclave. Alongside him we meet Stanley Tucci (Spotlight), John Lithgow (The Crown), Isabella Rossellini (Blue Velvet), Lucian Msamati (Gangs of London) and Sergio Castellito (Who Knows).
