The Young and the Restless: Why did Jordi Villasuso (Ray) leave the series?

Although Kyle has just returned (her translator Michael Meallor announces a sequel) to our screens, another fate has just been shattered in Genoa…

A few days ago in the episodes of the TF1 series The Young and the Restless (available to viewers from Monday to Friday until 11 a.m.), the character of Ray (Jordi Villasuso) died tragically, leaving behind his wife and the now widowed Sharon (Sharon Casey).

Ray dies tragically

While he’s driving, the cop crashes two other cars, Ashland’s (Robert Newman) and Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle, who confides what she thinks about her new partner).

Fortunately, the couple, who still don’t know what their love story will be, came out of the collision almost unscathed…

Ray, on the other hand, did indeed die during this dramatic incident. Nick (Joshua Morrow) then takes it upon himself to reveal her husband’s sudden disappearance to Sharon… utterly devastated, will she be able to overcome this particularly difficult ordeal?

Jordi Villasuso is leaving the series

In any case, one thing is clear: Jordi Villasuso, who gave his features to the policeman, finally left “The Young and the Restless” at the end of this intrigue, which will be broadcast across the Atlantic on the CBS channel in 2022 (France is two years. and a half late compared to the American broadcast).

But in fact, why did the actor leave the cult series? in his podcast Making it work (which the main interested party hosts with his wife in the city), Jordi Villasuso explains his departure, which was clearly not voluntary. He states:

I have re-signed with Les Feux de l’amour for another three years. But in these contracts, the TV series can decide every six months not to renew you for the next six months. And so it happened. Perhaps I should have paid more attention to the signs. The scripts I was given back then were very short…

A hero that French fans already regret…
