“Amor Da Minha Vida” will premiere November 22 on Disney+
The plot of romantic love is nothing new to anyone, but what are the surprises in a story based on real disappointments? Disappointments, love, friendship, relationships and making out, not necessarily in that order, are in the new series “The love of my life”, which will debut on November 22nd Disney+.
With Bruna Marquezine, Sérgio Malheiros, João Guilherme, Fernanda Paes Leme, Cissa Guimarães, Danilo Mesquita and an exceptional cast, “Amor Da Minha Vida” has a compelling plot, rated 18+ and not at all cliché.
The series is part of the catalog of national productions of the new Disney+, which in addition to content from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic, now also includes Star films and series and sports content from ESPN. It’s a comprehensive menu on an established platform with content for all ages.

BASED ON REAL DISAPPOINTMENTS
In “Amor Da Minha Vida” Bruna Marquezine gives life to Bia, an aspiring actress, typically Leo: she is intense, good-natured and prefers drama to boredom. Between fleeting passions and small family dramas, she always has a fascinating and neurotic daydream about herself and the world around her. “This is me now,” she often says, because like the world, Bia is always in motion.
Victor, Sérgio Malheiros’ character, is his best friend and his complementary opposite, who prefers a more “down to earth” life and sees no problem in the fact that their relationship is lukewarm, without great emotions. At a certain point, the world of the two friends collapses and they need to rediscover life starting from a new dynamic, but with one certainty: they are each other’s safe haven.
Victor sees beauty where Bia sees monotony and needs to learn to manage, for example, Bia’s peculiar displays of affection, when she responds “I love you” only “reflexively”.
Watch one of the teasers for the series:
“It’s a project that I’ve wanted to make for a long time, that’s about love, that makes us laugh, that makes us cry, that we see each other on the screen, so from the first moment I embraced the project, I jumped on board,” said Bruna Marquezine during D23 Brasil, an official Disney+ fan event that took place in an unprecedented edition in Brazil on November 9 and brought the public the best spoilers about the new streaming attractions.
Sérgio Malheiros was also present at the event and spoke about how the series, written by the talented Matheus Souza (Tá Escrito), represents an important step for each of them. Mainly Bruna, who not only played the leading role, but also had her first experience as executive producer and co-director.
Bruna told her fans how the series allowed her to experience something never seen before in her acting career: “I think it’s the desire of every actor to be able to be more involved in the process and, thanks to the generosity of the directors, I have was able to produce and co-lead.”
With love at the center of the plot, youthful challenges form the backdrop to “Love of My Life,” making us reflect on how to deal with more uncertainties than certainties, in a world that changes at a moment’s notice, without warning. The series explores love in a way that is very close to everyday life.
