Jake Paul bows to Mike Tyson and challenges Saul Canelo Alvarez

Confident after beating the 58-year-old legend, the American YouTuber wants to fight the current super middleweight champion

Jake Paolo showed all his admiration for Mike Tyson after the victory, on points, early this Saturday morning, in Arlington, Texas. In an interview after the fight, the YouTuber/boxer praised the former champion.

“For me it was an honor. You were the greatest of all time. A sports icon. I have the greatest respect for you. Thank you so much”, said Jake Paul, visibly moved, together with his brother, the his girlfriend and his mother.

At 27, Paul has gained the confidence to confirm his challenge to Mexican Saul Canelo Alvarez, the unified super middleweight champion and one of the biggest names in boxing today. “Now the time has come, let’s see if he doesn’t run away.”

Paul, who had his first professional fight in 2020, has 11 wins and one loss. His setback was against Britain’s Tommy Fury, in 2023.
