Astrid and Raphael on France 2: Will Kengo Saito (Tetsuo) leave the series?

Season 5 of Astrid and Raphael, which airs every Friday night on France 2, is marked by changes for Astrid (Sarah Mortensen). In addition to having to deal with Raffaele’s (Lola Deware) pregnancy, he also has to deal with Tetsuo’s (Kengo Saito) departure.

In the season 4 finale of Astrid and Raphael, Tetsuo revealed to Nico that his visa was expiring and he would have to leave France soon.

In Season 5 Episode 2, he finally decides to tell Astrid that he has to go back to Japan next week. He doesn’t yet know how long he will have to stay there, but it could be permanent.

He declares his love for her and then asks her if she wants to stay in France. But Astrid cannot answer this question. Disturbed by the indifference, Tetsuo prefers to leave.

In episode 3, after a long discussion with Rafael, who makes her realize that she should confess her feelings to her lover even if he didn’t ask directly, Astrid finds Tetsuo before he goes to the airport to pick her up. His plane and tells him everything that is in his heart. After that, Tetsuo promises to come back. But will it really be?

Is Kengo Saito leaving the series?

Fans of the Tetsuo/Astrid pairing can rest assured, Kengo Saito is not leaving Astrid and Raffaele forever. He will definitely be around for the rest of Season 5. In later episodes, Astrid talks to him at length using video on the screens.

And he will definitely be back in France before Season 5 ends. A chance for two lovers to finally meet again. And after several months of separation, this reunion will come with a very big surprise for the fans of the detective series. But we won’t tell you anything!
