Last Thursday, October 3, TF1 aired the final episode of HPI Season 4. A new episode that was rich for Morgan (Audrey Fleurot) and Karadek (Mehdi Nebibu), as we were surprised to find out in the last minutes that Adam was actually the real father of Red Tornado’s baby.
Another twist of fate: upon leaving the hospital, Morgan learned that he had lost his home. Homeless, she decided to move to Karadets with her four children.
Filming for Season 5 is finally underway
Even before the airing of HPI season 4, TF1 already announced that the detective series would be returning for an additional season, which as usual should be released next May.
And the channel just announced in a press release that filming for the first two episodes of Season 5, directed by Vincent Gemaine, began this Monday, November 18, in the Hauts-de-France region.
Audrey Fleuro, Mehdi Nebibu, Bruno Sanchez, Marie Denarno, Beranger McNeese, Cyprian Garden and Noah VandeVorde will reprise their roles for the occasion. Alyssa Chegar-Bruno and Julien Anskater will again be at the helm of the new season, in which Morgan will face new challenges.
Morgan and Karadek as roommates
Morgan’s efforts to improve his karma finally paid off. As she hoped, Karadec is indeed the father of her child, and she graciously agrees to adopt him. Just for once, the universe seems to have good things in store for our hero as this new season begins…
But now that Morgana has gotten what she wanted, the question is: Can she last? Because if Morgan is good at chaos, vulnerability, and misery…he’s a lot less good at happiness and simplicity. And that’s right… Morgan and Karadek have barely begun to find balance in their new lives as parents when an irresistible attraction threatens!
But attempting a love story when you’re already co-parents, colleagues, and roommates…is that a genius idea? Or a great way to screw things up? We’ll have to wait for HPI Season 5 to find out.
This is not the only problem Morgan will face. Last September, Alice Chegar-Brunot and Julien Anskater actually confided in AlloCiné that the consultant’s place in the DIPJ was in question.
“Next season we also wanted to explore Morgan’s place in the police force. Does it still make sense that Morgan is a police officer?Julien Anskater explained. “This was a problem for him from the beginning. He is someone who is very anti-cop and is generally not cut out to work in the environment. Therefore, it will be a professional challenge for Morgan.”
See you in 2025 on TF1 to discover HPI season 5. For the more nostalgic, previous episodes are available on the TF1+ platform.
